Turquoise Kitchen Inspiration

I'm looking for inspiring kitchen images for a beach house project that I am working on: I think I may have found the one! Totally in love with this turquoise kitchen, isn't it gorgeous?! Those pops of yellow really liven the space up not to mention those gorgeous tiles. You can find a great selection of fabulous tiles from Fired Earth if you want to replicate the look. They don't all have to match in fact creating a patchwork of styles can  also look fabulous. Oh and not to mention those gorgeous Tolix chairs.....

Deborah Bowness New Wallpaper Collection

I am totally in love with these fabulous wallpapers from Deborah Bowness who launches her new collection at Tent London in September. From pretty florals to stricking bold prints, they sure make a statement! I look forward to meeting this very talented lady!

Melanie Porter Launches New Collection At Tent

I have always been a big fan of Melanie Porter's work so I was pleasantly surprised to get a sneak peek of her new collection. Launching this year at Tent London, you certainly are in for another treat.

Melanie Porter is a designer-maker of contemporary knitted interior products. In particular specialising in the unique practice of felted knit covered chairs and lamps.  Every piece is individually handmade in the UK, and first to be seen at Tent London this September.

Through her work she explores the use of traditional craft techniques to create products with a contemporary aesthetic. She uses knit to produce the fabric, traditional upholstery to restore the furniture and crochet to create handmade finishes all of which are applied with an interplay of colours and texture. Thus resulting in quirky, fun and original pieces.

Friday Inspiration: Peacock Pavilions

I'm in full summer mode here in Italy. With scorching temperatures, I cannot help but find inspiration from these lovely interiors. I have blogged about Peacock Pavilions many times before but these gorgeous images totally explain my mood. Seeing Maryam and her house in the May issue of Lonny magazine brought so many fond memories of my time there last year. A mesmerising and captivating place that I cherish forever. I look forward to going back there very soon.

Shades Of Grey...

No, I'm not talking about the popular erotic book taking the world by the storm but the shades of grey that have become so popular in interiors. It's the colour of the moment and I just cannot seem to get enough. A sense of calmness transpires from these muted colours, the perfect palette for a haven of tranquility. Somehow I have a feeling this colour will be trending for a very long time the and it may have also something to do with a certain Christian Grey ;)
